Course interest
Group course fees are USD 350 for Intro to Pro Tools, Intro to Logic Pro, Intro to Ableton Live and Intro to Mixing, and USD 480 for Advanced Mixing Techniques, Creative Recording and Maximising Emotion in Production. These are per-course fees for the three-day, nine-hour group programmes. Private mentoring is quoted separately. Provisional pilot dates are listed on the Academy and course pages. Final dates and availability will be confirmed before enrolment. Registering interest is free and does not reserve a seat, confirm enrolment or create a payment obligation. No payment is collected through this website.
Before enrolment
The course schedule, class size, total fee, software and equipment requirements, included materials, support arrangements, attendance requirements and rescheduling arrangements will be confirmed before you accept a place. Software and equipment are arranged separately unless expressly stated otherwise.
Course cancellation and refunds
This policy applies to future paid course enrolments. Enrolment is currently closed; registering interest is free.
If you cancel your course booking or miss a session, the course fees paid are not refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
If Fragrant Wood Studios cancels the entire course before it starts or cannot deliver it at all, we will refund the full course fee you paid. If we cannot deliver part of a course, we will refund the portion of the course fee paid for the teaching we do not deliver.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies you have under applicable law, including any right to a refund.

Learning outcomes
Group programmes have three teaching sessions totalling nine hours. The course outlines describe the skills and projects the teaching works towards. Individual progress depends on your experience, preparation and practice; additional work outside live sessions may be needed.
Independent teaching
These are independent Fragrant Wood Studios teaching programmes. They do not award official Avid, Apple, Ableton or other vendor certification. Any studio-issued completion document and its requirements will be specified before enrolment if one is offered.
Studio projects
A project enquiry is not a confirmed booking. Scope, quote, deliverables, revision allowance, schedule, usage arrangements and any cancellation terms are agreed in writing before work begins. Share only material you have permission to provide for review or production.
